A little secret of mine is that I’ve never visited @theodorerooseveltnps during peak season, it’s just way too busy! 5 years in North Dakota and maybe this year I’ll play tourist a bit during the summer madness 😄☀️

Since it’s a relatively small park I love taking solo trips throughout the fall and spring, when it’s quiet and peaceful.

As a photographer when people ask, “What kind of photos do you do?” I feel like we all kinda pause and try our best to come up with the most concise answer, but the truth is - we do a lot of everything. One of the struggles for me has been thinking to myself - where to I put all these “other” photos - so we’re taking notes from other photographers I love and we’re putting them right here! I’ll be mixing in landscape and other photos I’ve taken into the feed because nobody is just one dimensional!

A stunning day for my last wedding of the season! No wind (a miracle in North Dakota), perfect fall colors, and not too chilly.

Sami and Keagan were so fun to be around, they created a magical day for them and their families!

My favorite thing to do lately is give the couples a crash course in using my DSLR to capture a couple photos of each other. The photos are the end are ones Keagan took, and they capture that infectious raw joy of love. ✨🌟✨
